Welcome to the Yang's Lab
Despite significant advancements in medicine and treatment, there remains a notable shortage of expert-level medical assessments for broad patient populations, along with a limited understanding of complex diseases. Addressing these challenges requires the development of advanced biomedical technologies, particularly in the realm of wearable and implantable devices.
Our group works at the intersection of new materials, micro/nanofabrication, wireless communication, interface development, cell therapy, and artificial intelligence to develop new-generation biological models and biomedical devices to explore the underlying principles behind human consciousness, intelligence, and diseases. The research outcome can further improve the accessibility and effectiveness of daily healthcare, especially in the context of automated diagnosis and therapy.
